Emergency Loan Information
- Emergency loans WILL be available during the registration
until funds are depleted.
- To qualify, you MUST pay all previous outstanding debts owed
to the University (i.e. student balances, parking citations, brary fees).
- A $15.00 non-refundable processing fee will be added to your
loan.
- After tuition and fees are paid, emergency loans WILL NOT be
adjusted to accommodate added courses. A students line of credit
CAN NOT be increased during add/drop period.
- Students are allowed only one emergency loan per semester.
- Students are obligated to pay the tuition and fees covered
by the signed promissory note.
- The Loan Payment is due on February 21, 2000. A $15.00 late
payment fee will be assessed within each 30 days that the payment is late.

Spring 2000 Early
Registration Loan Process:
- Emergency loans WILL NOT be available for students after
December 6, 1999. Students are allowed only one emergency loan per semester.
- If you register between November 15 and December 1, 1999,
the emergency loan application can be picked up at the designated areas. The application
will be available starting November 22, 1999. Deadline to submit the Emergency Loan
Application is 5:00 p.m., Monday, December 6, 1999 at the Business Office, located at
Tandy Hall #109.
- To complete the emergency loan transaction, you MUST visit
the Student Center to sign the Promissory Note section of the Emergency Loan Application
and receive your Statement of Charges on December 8, 1999 and December 9, 1999 from 8:00
a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Failure to sign your promissory note and receive your
statement of charges WILL result in your registration being canceled.
Spring 2000 Late
Arena Registration Loan Process
- Emergency loans WILL NOT be available for students after
January 13, 2000.
- If you register between January 12 and January 13, 2000, the
emergency loan application process will be completed during the late arena registration
process to held at Jacob Brown Auditorium.
- Failure to sign your promissory note and receive your
statement of charges WILL result in your registration being canceled.
- Emergency loans must be repaid to UTB/TSC by Thursday,
February 17, 2000. A $15.00 late payment fee will be assessed within every 30 days that
the payment is late. Payments must be made at the Business Office cashier window, located
at Tandy Hall #107. Failure to pay the loan when promised WILL result in records placed on
hold and the student WILL BE UNABLE to register, secure transcripts, and/or receive any
form of financial aid.
