Special Course Guidelines
- TASP. If you have taken the TASP test and
not yet passed all three sections, you must enroll in all developmental coursework. If you
have completed all the developmental courses in the failed TASP area, you will be required
to enroll in the appropriate courses as follows: READ 0323, READ 0100, ENGL 0100, MATH
0100.
- Prerequisite. A prerequisite is a course
which must be completed with a specific grade before going on to the next course in that
sequence. Classes with a prerequisite are designated by a "B" in the course
schedule. If you enroll in a course without successfully meeting the prerequisite, you
will be required to withdraw from the course.
- Concurrent enrollment. Some courses require
you to enroll in a lab or some other specific course that same semester. These courses
must be added immediately following the corresponding course. These courses are designated
by a "C" in the course schedule.
- Student Petitions. Courses that require
departmental approval are designated by a "D" in the course schedule. You must
contact the department chair to obtain this approval. Department chairs and their
telephone numbers are listed in the course schedule booklet. They will be available from
7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
