Welcome to UTB/TSC, a unique addition to The University of Texas System. A historic partnership was implemented in 1992 between the upper-level UT Brownsville and the lower-level Texas Southmost College, a community college established in Brownsville in 1926. Beginning in the fall of 1998, UT Brownsville became a four-year university and enrolled freshman in education, engineering technology, business and music programs. UTB/TSC
is this community's university dedicated to providing you with
the tools you need to succeed. I
